În septembrie 2025 Euro NCAP a confirmat că update-ul OTA pentru Atto 3 (2022) a ridicat Assistance Competence de la 55% la 60% și Safety Backup de la 35% la 72% (calificativ „Moderate”), iar Atto 3 2025 cu sistem nou a obținut „Good” (67% / 80%).
Euro NCAP Assisted Driving (23 octombrie 2024): sistemul de asistență pe autostradă al Atto 3 (2022) a primit calificativul „Not Recommended” – cel mai slab din sesiune – din cauza lipsei de acțiune în cazul unui șofer care nu răspunde.

Pe 6 martie 2025 BYD a prezentat facelift-urile Atto 3 și Dolphin cu sistemul ADAS bazat pe camere „God's Eye C” (trei camere), selector de viteze mutat pe coloana volanului la Atto 3 și o nouă variantă de 130 kW la Dolphin.
Update-ul OTA BYD V1.8.0 (2 iulie 2024) a adăugat Apple CarPlay wireless (anterior doar cu cablu) pe Atto 3, Seal și Dolphin, plus optimizări ADAS (frecvență/volum avertizări) și limbi noi pentru asistentul vocal.
Pe 20 ianuarie 2026 BYD a anunțat extinderea retroactivă a garanției bateriei Blade în SEE/UK/Elveția la 8 ani sau 250.000 km cu SOH minim 70% (anterior 8 ani/200.000 km), valabilă pentru toate modelele EV și Super Hybrid deja vândute și noi.
