This page explains how we handle the personal data you submit through the quote, test-drive and dealer contact forms on ChinaCars.Global.
Who is responsible
ChinaCars.Global is responsible for the data collected through these forms. You can contact us at info@chinacars.global.
What we collect
The name, phone number, email address, county and message you enter, the model and dealer you were viewing, and the page you submitted from. To limit abuse we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. We do not keep your IP address in readable form.
Why we use it
To handle your request, to contact you about it, and to pass it to a dealer of the brand you chose so they can reply. We do not use it for anything else and we do not sell it.
Legal basis
Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who receives it
Our team, the dealer your request is passed to, and the providers that host our website, database and email delivery, acting on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Only for as long as needed to handle your request, or until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you may withdraw your consent, by writing to info@chinacars.global. You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP).
